Summary:

The Building Technician I is an entry-level role with the Facilities team responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the healthcare facility by executing routine and emergency repairs across plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry systems. This role implements preventive maintenance protocols and documents all activities daily to ensure strict compliance with healthcare safety codes and regulatory standards. By monitoring the environment for hazards and coordinating with department staff, the Technician ensures a safe, functional, and empathetic environment for patient care.

Hours: Tues.- Sat. 7am - 3:30pm

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Basic computer proficiency in Windows environment.

Preferred Skills/Knowledge:

  • Familiar with using basic hand/power tools.

  • Ability to perform basic plumbing, electrical, mechanical and carpentry repairs.

  • Willingness to grow/learn various skill sets.
