Location: Calmont Operations BuildingDepartment: Adverse Childhood ExperiencesShift: First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours: 40Summary: Working through the Center for Community Health, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of assigned community-based program efforts in Cook Children's primary service areas that support and align with Cook Children's Promise, Cook Children's Strategic Plan, the Community-Wide Children's Health Assessment and Planning Survey (CCHAPS) and other relevant data. The Program Coordinator works to reduce the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) by educating and supporting professionals and families in the community, emphasizing mental health and caregiver support. The position promotes community relationships through collaborative partnerships, working with diverse populations and prioritizing under-resourced communities. The Program Coordinator serves as a resource to community and system leadership to identify target audiences to communicate results and outcomes of community-based efforts. Requires some weekend/evening work and routine travel in the eight-county service area as assigned (Tarrant, Johnson, Hood, Parker, Wise, Denton, Collin and Grayson). Qualifications:
