DEA is currently hiring for a CAD Technician in our Water / Wastewater Infrastructure practice to support major projects in our Puget Sound and Mountain West regions and other DEA offices. This position is ideally located in either our Bellevue, WA office (or another Puget Sound Region office), Salt Lake City, UT office, or Portland, OR office. The position will operate under the direction of professional engineers and project managers as part of a team working on city, county, state, federal, and private projects. The primary focus for this position will be as support for a wide variety of water / wastewater infrastructure and water resources projects, including, but not limited to, water distribution and sanitary conveyance design (gravity and pumped systems); pump stations; reservoirs; utility relocation; surface water management systems; stormwater facilities; floodplain management systems; culvert, stream, wetland and habitat restoration; and preparation of engineering and construction plans and exhibits. Ideal candidates will be experienced in AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Bentley OpenRoads Designer and have a good understanding of related water / wastewater infrastructure, utility relocation, and water resources engineering concepts and systems.
