Intern, Statistical Programming

Overview

The Statistical Programming intern will perform basic programming duties to support the larger Statistical Programming team, using appropriate documentation in order to gain an understanding of Statistical Programming's role in clinical development.

Learning Outcomes

1. The candidate will work with Data Science, Statistics, and Epidemiology Medical Affairs to review and validate outputs, using R or other tools as appropriate.

2. The candidate will assist with project documentation in Data Science, Statistics, and Epidemiology Medical Affairs and in the larger Statistical Programming team.

3. The candidate will assist with macro validation for the Data Science, Statistics, and Epidemiology Technical Solutions team as appropriate.

Qualifications

  • Currently studying in the field of Statistics/Biostatistics, computer science or related field
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, time-management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Technical writing capabilities
  • Knowledge of R, RShiny, Python or other web/application development language; familiar with MS office; SAS experience a plus
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age prior to scheduled start date
