The work County government does is unique. There are many meaningful careers that make a real difference in the lives of the citizens of Dakota County. We consists of four divisions, 27 departments that work in 20 locations across the County including three primary service centers, nine public libraries, a transportation maintenance facility, and other smaller facilities.
