Description Compensation (payroll title: Child Support Officer I and II) Child Support Caseworker I: $26.28 - $31.31 hourly Child Support Caseworker II: $29.99 - $35.83 hourly This is an excellent opportunity to begin a great career doing meaningful work that makes a significant impact in the local community. The Child Support Services Department has multiple full-time vacancies in Santa Maria and Santa Barbara. Once sufficiently trained, this role may have the opportunity to discuss a hybrid remote work schedule contingent upon the needs of the department. In the role of Child Support Caseworker I, you will receive training and under supervision you will establish and enforce orders for child and medical support; locate absent parents; establish paternity; and perform related duties as required. As you progress in this role and learn the full range of duties, you can promote to Child Support Caseworker II, which typically takes about one year.
