As a R&D engineering intern at Keysight, you will join a high-performance R&D team located in Santa Rosa, CA. You will have the opportunity to leverage your Electrical Engineering and measurement knowledge to contribute to a range of hands-on projects.

Your responsibilities will include designing and simulating FPGA and/or digital hardware designs, troubleshooting the hardware when it arrives, and working with the cross-functional team, including other hardware engineers, firmware/software, mechanical, materials, and manufacturing engineers. Projects may involve analog and/or RF design and scripting. The ideal candidate is equally proficient in design and characterization in a hands-on environment.

Required Skills
* Working towards a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering

* FPGA development and/or digital circuit design, including for signal integrity

* Digital signal processing (DSP) knowledge

* Self-motivated, quick-learner and excellent analytical skills
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
* Must be flexible, adaptable and eager to push technical boundaries
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Desired Skills
* Experience with electronic test and measurement equipment, especially RF equipment
* Analog, RF and/or microwave circuit knowledge

* Proficiency at one or more scripting languages

Keysight Internship Program Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered must be enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2025. Applicants who have graduated before September 2025 will not be considered unless they are entering/applying to a MS or PHD program after graduating.

Pay Range:

$35-55/hour
