Description

Medica's Corporate Communications Consultant I will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing communication strategies that promote our mission, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support organizational objectives. This role involves creating high-quality content for various channels, including digital platforms, meetings and town halls, print, and internal emails and intranet articles. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing and editing skills, a creative mindset, critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans that align with organizational goals
  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including websites, social media, newsletters, press releases, and internal communications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and produce strategic, accurate and timely communications
  • Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness and audience engagement metrics, making recommendations for improvement
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, campaigns, and initiatives that promote the organization's mission and purpose
  • Maintain and update the organization's communication materials, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field


Specific types of experience or skills required:



  • 2-4 years of experience in communications, public relations, or a similar role preferred
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems. Experience with graphic design software is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative communication strategies
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure communication effectiveness is a plus


This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.

The full salary range for this position is $43,800 - $75,100. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
