Position Summary

The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

CDD Administration is seeking a Fiscal Services Tech that enjoys a fast paced, challenging work environment with the willingness to learn. The primary duties and responsibilities for this position include:

Reconciling and reviewing Medicaid electronic/paper deposits for CDD's State Medicaid contracts. Maintaining accurate deposit spreadsheets and databases of all billing revenue received. Accessing various insurance provider's E-portals to obtain billing RA claims as backup to deposits. This position will also work closely with CDD's billing manager.

Entering, reviewing, and approving Bi-weekly payroll though the LoboTime Kronos timekeeping management system.

Preparing deposits of cash and cash related items in accordance with UNM's cash management policies.

Assist with monthly EPAFs, chrome river approvals, and reconciling CDD's Cars and Copier usage.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.



Preferred Qualifications

Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily duties and projects.

Knowledge of Medicaid, MCO or other insurance billing experience.

Experience with UNM, or other university, purchasing and fiscal policies and procedures.

Experience working in an academic setting serving multiple departments/divisions.
