JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Animal Diagnostic Lab - Department of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences at Penn State seeks to hire a full-time Research Technologist to join the Martins lab team focused on developing and improving viral diagnostic assays and viral vaccines. This position involves various laboratory tasks in classical and molecular virology, including cell culture, working with recombinant viruses, and occasionally participating in animal experiments. The successful candidate will also maintain laboratory equipment, manage lab supplies, and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures. Training on all tasks related to this position will be provided. Key responsibilities:

Additional information: Rabies vaccination and biennial titer checks are strongly recommended and will be covered by the laboratory. Occasional travel may be required for training and continuing education purposes with associated expenses covered by the Lab.
