We are currently seeking an experienced Team Leader to provide oversight to our Healthy Transitions program. The purpose of this program is to improve access to treatment and support services for youth and young adults, ages 16 to 25, who have a serious emotional disturbance or a serious mental disorder. Treatment is provided through a multidisciplinary team of social workers, vocational/education specialists, housing specialists, nurses, addiction treatment workers, and physicians.

The Team Leader will provide leadership to all aspects of this program's day-to-day operations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING (ESSENTIAL DUTIES) ...

  • Provide direct clinical supervision and clinical leadership to the staff of the Healthy Transitions program.
  • Perform client intake and screenings into the Healthy Transitions program, referring/discharging those individuals not accepted into the programs.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Monitor day to day activities of Healthy Transitions Program; coordinate activity with the Division Director
  • Partner with the Division Director to monitor, oversee, plan, and evaluate staff to ensure compliance with agency/program policy and ensure high quality service to clients.
  • Work with Division Director to secure sufficient resources and to train and provide feedback to new and existing staff.
  • Establish and maintain a positive flow of communication and teamwork with Healthy Transitions program and other Newport Mental Health programs and services.
  • Provide program reports and participate in collaborations both internally and externally

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU...

  • At least two years of program management or supervisory experience in a mental health setting or equivalent.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license required.
  • For LCSW, LICSW, and LMHC, a masters degree at minimum is required.
  • Experience providing clinical services to individuals experience first episode psychosis preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to professionally communicate verbally and in writing with a variety of individuals.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive within a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid understanding of program management best practices and the ability to work effectively to meet deadlines and goals.
  • A track record in setting priorities, shaping processes, and developing infrastructure to ensure team productivity and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated understanding and respect for the cultural and religious beliefs of clients and families.
  • Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation to travel to our facilities throughout the area.
