I. Position Description

Primary Duties and Responsibilities (details of the basic job functions):

Responsible for leading functional requirements gathering activities and translating them into user stories. Lead the build and maintain world-class Salesforce.com solutions using best practices in utilizing Salesforce platform, lightning apps and components, custom apps, changes to core apps, AppExchange Apps, approvals, workflows, product configurators etc., for sales and service clouds and partner community.

Serves as the supervisor of Salesforce Business Analysts working on medium to large projects. Acts as primary liaison between business customers, systems development teams and implementation partners and vendors. Assists management in identifying project objectives, validating detailed business/technical requirements, and evaluating alternatives.

Defines project scope, objectives and resource needs related to testing. Guides test plans and ensures test cases thoroughly support business requirements and obtains approval on test plans, test cases and expected results and documents as necessary. Accountable for supporting planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Training and Change Management. Coordinates the work assignments and tasks for staff and objectively evaluates individual performance to objectives.

Duties to include:

  • Understand how a specific business operates today in terms of how they support customers, what their operations are, and what technology and data the business uses currently
  • Work with the business to define the challenges they are facing, and gather functional requirements needed to solve the challenges. This could include completing interviews with functional users and developing business process maps
  • Facilitate workshops with business to identify goal end state, and generate ideas that will advance the business through technology
  • Walkthrough Salesforce platform capabilities that are aligned to solving the business capabilities requested
  • Conceptualize what can be a minimally viable product (MVP) that can be used for quick testing and confirmation before further development
  • Convert functional requirements into user stories that explain the business need and goal state
  • Work with Development teams to confirm and explain user stories and functional requirements
  • Work with Development teams to ensure correct configuration that resolves the business challenge
  • Coordinate testing and approvals including defining who will complete testing, timelines, and sign-off requirements
  • Develop reports on progress (i.e., challenges, open items, completed work) using program management software
  • Conduct planning sessions with project leadership to inform on current state of program
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings

Supervisory Responsibilities (briefly describe, if applicable, or indicate none):

Leads team of professionals spread across the ACG footprint.

II. Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)

Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):

  • A bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • Salesforce certifications for Administrator or Advanced Administrator
  • Sales Cloud and Service Cloud certifications

Experience:

  • 4+ years leadership experience driving business solutions utilizing Salesforce
  • 4+ years managing solutions implementations in Salesforce
  • Documented experience building/documenting requirements, solution design and delivery
  • IT support operations and application performance management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders including business and IT
  • Work across multiple parts of the organization simultaneously
  • Experience using program management software, and managing others' adoption and use
  • Experience with large implementations, including driving project management activities that ensure work stays on-time and on-budget, as well as design, prototyping, testing
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a creative, Agile environment and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience working in an agile environment, and ability to flex to meet new challenges
  • Ability to lead strategic/consultative sessions with clients
  • Able to solve diverse, complex and crucial business problems
  • Able to lead a team
  • Analysis, problem solving and decision making
  • Self-directed, able to work in fast-paced ambiguous environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, to include presentation skills

FLEX WORK IN WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is currently able to work remotely from a home office location for day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings, collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified by leadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/or modifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
