The Opportunity

The David B. O'Maley College of Business is seeking a part-time adjunct faculty member to teach one section of the master's level course of Operations Research. The course is offered for Spring 2025 face-to-face on our Daytona Beach campus. The prospective faculty member will provide hands-on learning activities that stimulate student involvement and encourage critical thinking.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

  • Doctoral Degree in Operations research/Decision Sciences or master's degree in operations research/Decision Sciences with at least five years of professional experience in the field. A terminal degree is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching Operations research/Management Science courses at an accredited Business School.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sensitivity to academic and cultural diversity; demonstrated proficiency using computer applications, online resources, and other technologies for the classroom.
