ROLE OVERVIEW:

Key Account Manager - WFP

As the Key Account Manager for our World Food Program (WFP) project, you will own and manage the customer experience, ensuring efficient and compliant end-to-end shipment execution. This role focuses on continuous improvement, stakeholder relationship management, and delivering as promised to our Key Client.

Location: Preferred locations: Dakar, Senegal or Abidjan, Ivory Coast. Open to other locations within the West Africa Area.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Development & Leadership: Plan, develop, and lead project execution, ensuring deadlines are met and quality maintained.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring key client requirements are met.
  • Customer Engagement: Take ownership of all customer communications, driving internal meetings and aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Escalation & Issue Resolution: Proactively handle any escalations, provide contingency planning, and seek continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Performance Review: Conduct regular performance and business review meetings with clients to ensure delivery quality and profitability.
  • Cost & Approval Management: Manage project costs and secure necessary approvals to optimize profitability.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Skills: Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to solve complex supply chain challenges.
  • Experience: Previous experience managing WFP projects is an advantage.
  • Competencies: Skilled in influencing without authority, contingency planning, and facilitating both internal and external stakeholder alignment.

Please note that this is a One year fixed term contract with the possibility of renewal.
