Location: Conyers, GA

What we're looking for:

Dover Food Retail (DFR) has an exciting career opportunity for a Marketing Manager, based out of Conyers, GA (greater Atlanta area). This critical role is an integral part of the DFR Marketing Leadership Team. Our ideal candidate has the ability to translate data and insights into actionable marketing plans for campaign development and creative digital marketing strategies. You should feel comfortable working both independently as well as collaborating with a cross-functional team including marketing, communications, PR, agency partners, and functional experts.

What you'll be responsible for in this role:

  • Develops integrated marketing strategy, including digital marketing, for assigned marketing program.
  • Leads planning and execution of campaigns within assigned program through collaboration with content, PR, communications teams, and agency partners
  • Successful launch of new offerings, ensuring appropriate marketing collateral, training and launch events are developed for both internal and external customers
  • Support the Marketing Communications and the Channel Marketing teams to drive market communications activities for the business including ad placements, trade events/shows, press releases and development of marketing materials such as brochures, datasheets and catalogs
  • Continuous improvement and maintenance of existing marketing collateral
  • Coach and train colleagues within cross-functional teams

What are the basic qualifications?

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in the discipline of product marketing, strategic marketing and/or MARCOM
  • Demonstrated experience of marketing communications with some focus on creating digital content and strategy
  • Ability to travel required up to 15%; mainly within the Americas

What are the preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in marketing, business or related field.

To be a great fit for the role:

  • Creative marketing and leadership in food retail or commercial refrigeration markets
  • General business understanding e.g., financial acumen preferred
  • Manufacturing environment experience
  • Knowledge of marketing strategy in a complex business environment and demonstrated capability of aligning marketing strategies to complex and varying business needs
  • Strong understanding and use of KPI's
  • Working in a collaborative team and balancing the needs of individual stakeholders while delivering corporate objectives.
  • High level of motivation, being a self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to operate in a global matrix organization structure
