Non-Dedicated Service (NDS) MANAGER (Compliance Manager Job Description)

MV Transportation - the nation's leading public transportation contractor - is growing our business development team. We are looking for committed, focused, and detail-oriented candidates with grit, stamina, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments. The NDS Manager is responsible for contract compliance with non-dedicated service providers and their contracts

Core Responsibilities :

    Responsible for compliance across all NDS providers
  • Identifies and assesses potential risks and develops plans to minimize or eliminate them.
  • Works with all stakeholders to address ethical or compliance issues and find solutions.
  • Develops standards, protocols, and procedures to ensure coordination and communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Holds oversight for all deliverables (client lists, references, attachments) to ensure clarity and compliance.
  • Oversee daily operations of non-dedicated subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract terms and company standards.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, including service quality, timeliness, and adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct regular audits and performance reviews to ensure subcontractors meet safety, operational, and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the non-dedicated subcontractor network, identifying potential partners to increase capacity and service flexibility.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to address performance gaps, providing guidance and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Ensure that subcontractor service levels align with organizational goals, working closely with internal teams to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage contract negotiations and renewals with non-dedicated subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both parties.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, fostering long-term partnerships and mutual growth.
  • Create and maintain accurate records of subcontractor agreements, performance metrics, and compliance documentation.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on subcontractor performance, network expansion efforts, and potential risks or issues.


Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

  • BA or BS degree in English, Journalism, Psychology, or Social Science.
  • Experience with managing teams.
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Professional superuser.
  • Must be resourceful, ask questions, and create solutions.
  • Critical thinking skills, as are creative problem solving and time management, are a must.
  • Strong communication (speaking, writing) skills and professional behavior under pressure. They must be honest, organized, and able to simultaneously work on multiple high-priority tasks.
  • Transportation sector experience preferred.

Salary range: $100,000.00 - $115,440.00

Other Compensation: $1,000.00 Driver referral bonus ($500.00 upon training completion and $500.00 upon completion of probationary period); $1,000.00 Mechanic referral bonus ($500.00 upon training completion and $500.00 upon completion of probationary period)

Expert or highly advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
