Overview
This is a research internship where the student will perform scientific experimentation to develop new knowledge and design prototype measurement capability on existing Keysight hardware and software solutions used in satellite communication systems. You'll bring your innovative ideas and skills to create software while partnering with industry leading engineers in electronic measurement. You will solve tough technical challenges and make an immediate impact. This internship will take place at Keysight's headquarters facility in Santa Rosa, California U.S.A. under the tutelage of expert AEs in Keysight's Aerospace and Defense Industry Solution Team. You will be a member of a high-performance team of Application Engineers and Solution Experts focused on an exciting application related to testing of satellite communication digital intermediate frequency interoperability (DIFI) standard that will be used for military and commercial satellite communications applications. In this internship, you will be working with Keysight professionals in a proactive and highly collaborative manner using your strong set of skills: RF measurement experience, software programming and technical communication. This role requires some understanding of basic RF theory, digital signal processing, and willingness to learn about RF free-space propagation, digital measurement techniques, and software automation programming.
