GENERAL PURPOSE

The Food Service Coordinator performs administrative and operations support of our Food Services department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with the management of Oracle POS register system including inputting new items and barcodes, auditing prices, and aligning the grab-n-go items.

  • Assure that customer service issues receive prompt and accurate resolutions with minimal service interruptions.

  • Manage EZ Pay cafe payroll distribution, assist associates with the sign up process, and distribute Freedom pay gift cards.

  • Process invoices and assist with production of P&L monthly statements.

  • Maintain online menu and catering sites.

  • Execute catered events on an as needed basis.

  • Perform food service audits on a regular basis, submit Maintenance, FEXA, and Copy requests, and dispatch vendors to fix food service equipment.

  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma. Two or more years of college preferred.

  • Two years of food service experience.

  • Experience in POS and Excel required

  • A broad base knowledge of food and beverage and the ability to merchandise effectively to guests.

Skills and Abilities

  • Superior customer interaction skills including ability to read the customer and adjust experience accordingly.

  • Able to deliver service standards on a consistent basis.

  • Ability to lift service-ware or supplies regularly up to 50 pounds.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software tools currently used in the HMI office environment.

  • Working knowledge of register software and business office equipment (fax, copier, multi-line phone, etc.).
