Field Marketing Manager

Summary Objective:

We are seeking a field marketer to drive marketing at a local level across our growing network of fitness clubs. This entrepreneurial individual will play a key role on the marketing team and will be responsible for developing strategic marketing initiatives, partnerships and events that build our brand and generate engagement in local communities around our clubs. This leader will bring vision to the role as well as detail-orientation and a collaborative approach focused on enabling local-based team members to succeed in their community events and activities.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every member, every time.
  • Spearhead local and regional marketing plans to be implemented by individual clubs/regions, managing calendars and communication to activate them.
  • Research, identify and pursue events, partnerships and programs within our trade areas.
  • Drive development of signature programs and lead relations with key partners, focusing activations for our business.
  • Build, negotiate and activate relationships with teams, leagues, and partners.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of local marketing strategies and lead adoption of winning plays throughout the club-based teams.
  • Develop toolkits, processes, and other strategies to facilitate easy execution and operational excellence in local marketing.
  • Develop and manage promotional items, allocating them for event support.
  • Manage budget and optimal use of field marketing resources.
  • Own accountability for KPI tracking and ongoing reporting for this area.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



  • Proven track record in local community events and influencing field teams remotely.
  • Demonstrated success building partnerships or sponsorships.
  • An effective project manager who realizes plans on time and on budget.
  • Excellent relationship builder who thrives in a team-oriented culture.
  • Demonstrates good judgement and high integrity.
  • A nimble problem solver who anticipates issues and solutions to drive success.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and influence others.


Experience, Education and Certifications:



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in field sales and marketing
