Supports Quality team in the investigation and resolution of customer product quality issues. Investigates issues through reviewing bill of materials, manufacturing processes, quality audits/inspections records and prepares written reports to Quality staff. Follows up with team members on actions and updates QMS records and prepares written summaries for review

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review incoming customer or field service issues and prepare written summaries based on findings and review of issue
  • Participate and/or lead problem solving events to determine root cause and resolve issue.
  • Review and understand front-end engineering processes to understand customer issues and assist in root cause analysis.
  • Ability to review ERP computer systems (Integra, Visual, eQMS) to ensure product met requirements of the customer specifications when designed and manufactured.
  • Interprets submittal drawings, electrical/mechanical engineering drawings, schematic diagrams and confers with management or engineering staff to determine potential causes of issue.
  • Report and communicate findings (ie, 4 sqaure, Quality Alerts) to Quality, Engineering or Manufacturing, for review and resolution.
  • Support containment activity in warehouse, production line, shipping, etc.
  • List, review, and evaluates customer return parts/RMA to determine customer issue and root cause.
  • Evaluates data and writes reports to support investigation of customer issues.
  • Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability based on customer concerns.
  • Audit mfg line, equipment, gauges, jogs, etc for adherence to critical processes
  • eQMS, Integra. (Business System). Reviews job specific data, Photos and results and updates eQMS records to keep information current

ESSENTIAL SKILS

  • 3 to 5 years of refrigeration working knowledge in a commercial/industrial environment.
  • Basic understanding of Problem Solving, Quality Assurance, and engineering and manufacturing principles
  • General Understanding of Structural, Ventilation, and Electrical Power and Control Concepts
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with positive can-do attitude
  • The ability to demonstrate dependability and flexibility to manage work as required

QUALIFICATION

  • Associate's degree and/or certificate in one of the following disciplines is preferred: Electrical Eng., Mechanical Eng. Refrigeration.
  • Must write and write fluent English
  • Refrigeration Technician with experience in charging, recovery and trouble shooting.

Travel may be required to sites for customer and field support.
