The Business Continuity Lead Consultant is responsible for working across the company to perform tasks to support the business continuity and crisis management program.

The Business Continuity Lead Consultant is responsible for working across the company to perform tasks to support the business continuity and crisis management program.

Key Responsibilities

* Interpret industry best practices and changes to associated regulations.

* Support as needed during crisis events (e.g. participate in response and recovery activities, documenting activities).

* Assist AoRs during business disruption/crisis.

* Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIAs) and develop and mature Business Continuity Plans.

* Engage with AOR Chief Risk Officers to identify and understand risks facing AoRs' operations. Escalate issues in achieving BC standards and agree on solutions to remove barriers to achieve Allstate's overall BC and CM strategy and roadmap.

* Establish and foster strategic partnerships with cross-organizational business areas including Continuity Management, Information Security, Physical Security, Emergency Response Team(s) and Supplier Management to improve coordination in planning, response and recovery capabilities.

* Develop and present metrics to AOR ORGs/lead coordinators to help inform AOR Sr. Leadership who then drive action on improvement priorities.

* Create and facilitate training and awareness for BC program.

* Design exercises to test BC and CM plans.

* Perform supplier and technology gap assessments.

Preferred Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Project Management experience preferred
  • 7 years professional related experience or Bachelor's degree or combination

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • CBCP, CBCI, NFPA 1600, ISO 22301 or other industry recognized certification preferred

Functional Skills

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Insurance industry knowledge preferred
  • Experience using Archer or other business continuity system of record
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills

Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $85,600.00 - 152,650.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
