Senior Director Permian Basin 38921BR Position Description Manages and directs the day-to-day operations of the rural health epidemiology initiative for the Permian Basin area for Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine based in Odessa, Texas. Plans, coordinates and supervises the operation and activities of the center/institute/department. Develops and implements policies and procedures, administers the budget, organizes tasks and sets priorities. Major/Essential Functions
Required Qualifications Master's degree in Public Health or Epidemiology; two (2) years of experience in a public health-related position, including one (1) year of experience working with infection prevention, monitoring and tracing diseases; and multi-agency public health coordination; and a demonstrated knowledge of rural health issues.
