Writing Tutor/Recurrent Faculty Member Lubbock 38808BR Position Description Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, research and service, some variation by academic unit. Major/Essential Functions Works one-on-one with students, faculty, and staff on every aspect of the writing process. Provides writing-related feedback at all levels of writing competency including (but not limited to):organization, rhetorical structure, outlining, thesis, development of argument, and integration of research. Provides writing-related feedback on a broad range of academic papers and professional career-related documents, including (but not limited to): research papers, assignments for courses, c.v. and resumes, personal statements for residency applications. Occasional Duties Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher.
