Job Summary

Coordinates and executes financial and administrative office functions for the College of Business Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics. Assists faculty, students, and the department team to accomplish department objectives.

  • Manages and reconciles departmental expenses including travel and other expenses using University credit card. Submits requisitions and receives goods or services against purchase orders; creates travel authorizations, expense reports, through the University's financial system.
  • Work with vendors and various University constituents on the creation and execution of purchasing contracts. Processes contracts in accordance with University purchasing guidelines, including, but not limited to, retrieving quotes, generating requisitions, processing receipts, and ensuring vendors are paid in a timely manner.
  • Assists the department coordinating departmental activities, meetings, seminars, and retreats.
  • Assists students with administrative issues about registration, grade concerns, enrollment concerns, and advising guidance.
  • Manages the inventory of office supplies and promotional items. Processes departmental and individual memberships, subscriptions, and software purchases.
  • Serves as point of contact for issues and requests. Supports other team members within department as needed. Provides the department with coverage needs, on campus, via telephone, and e-mail. Serves as department liaison to internal and external constituents.
  • Regularly updates and maintains the recommended improvements to the program websites and social media pages.
  • Interprets university administrative and fiscal policies and procedures. Provides recommendations on procedures for the unit to improve administrative and fiscal operation for the office.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience providing administrative support, or coordinating functions of an office or department.
