Job Summary Supports school-based and district personnel in the coordination of district and state assessments while supervising district level resource staff administering state and national assessments. Essential Functions 1.Provide training for school-based personnel in the coordination of assessments including, but not limited to, the navigation and retrieval of information from assessment platforms. 2. Update training videos and tutorials, as needed. 3. Draft weekly correspondence for school-based and district personnel. 4. Coordinate state and national assessments for students enrolled in private, home, and virtual education settings and administer assessments, as needed. 5. Supervise, schedule, and train district level resource personnel to administer state and national assessments to private, home, and virtual education students while overseeing the budget related to this project. 6. Delivers professional development to teachers and/or other school personnel in utilization of the District on-line assessment system and effective data analysis. 7. Delivers professional development for district and school-based personnel in utilization of assessment information to enhance the instructional process 8. Attends conferences, workshops, visitations, and meetings to provide information and represent the Director of Data and Assessments. 9. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years experience in areas such as school improvement planning, development of school profiles, strategic planning, project management, or program review. Experience developing data collection procedures, analyzing and presenting performance information, and coordinating the development of performance measures. Knowledge related to research best practices in instruction. Certifications & Licenses: NA. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Knowledge of federal, state, and district regulations related to data and assessment * Knowledge of best practices in instruction * Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Strong word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software skills * Strong supervisory skills * Strong organization skills * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to assess situations quickly * Ability to develop and deliver presentations * Ability to perform tasks with limited direction and supervision |
