Technical Project Manager

Job Purpose:

The Global Services Division provides order fulfillment and integration, aftermarket services and end-of-life services. We are looking for an experienced Technical Project manager to manage product development activities. The position involves leading and supporting projects from initiation through delivery. You will also participate in organizing the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.

Nature of Duties:

• Lead local multidisciplinary development team to provide design solutions that meet the project requirements from initiations through delivery
• Create, manage and execute project plan through a gated development process
• Monitoring and Controlling project execution
• Primary customer interface with Clients on project related issues including schedule, budget, priorities, billing, out-of-scope activities, and deliverables
• Lead execution team meetings that typically include customer technical representatives
• Executing plan on schedule per budget
• Will use project management skills more than technical skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field: Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, etc.
• Certified PM, APICS etc., preferred
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience developing business implementation plans and managing manufacturing oriented implementations

• Be able to multitask both within a project, as needed, and manage other projects simultaneously
• Must be able to handle critical issues in a calm manner
• Effective communication towards problem solving
• Leadership qualities
• Financial Tracking
• Efficient Team management skills
• Need to have customer-delivery focus, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well within a Multidisciplinary product development team in a fast-paced challenging environment.
• Able to Travel 10-15%
