The Department of Education Sciences and Professional Programs (ESPP) at the University of Missouri-St. Louis is dedicated to fostering academic excellence through diverse, research-driven, and practice-oriented programs. We prepare future professionals in education, psychology, counseling, and sport management to excel in their fields, ensuring they make meaningful contributions to their communities. The Bachelor of Science in Sport Management is a standout program within ESPP, boasting strong ties to organizations such as St. Louis CITY SC, the newest MLS team, and industry partnerships with professional sports teams. Our students consistently rank in national competitions, and the program is a recognized leader in experiential learning, with opportunities for internships, service learning, and career networking. We are seeking a collaborative colleague who is committed to student success, advancing knowledge in the field, and serving the St. Louis community and beyond. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong record of teaching and professional experience in sport management, with a focus on preparing students for the evolving sports industry. In addition to teaching and service, faculty are expected to actively participate in mentoring students, providing career guidance, and building relationships with industry partners to enhance student learning and internship opportunities. Experiential learning is a priority and focus of this program and faculty are expected to take a prominent role in established activities/events and create new opportunities for students.
