Essential Job Duties:

• Oversees the design, implementation, operation and evaluation of group and individual behavioral programs provided on and off the unit.
• Designs and revises (with input from appropriate staff) specific behavioral programming for individual clients according to presenting needs.
• Assists in coordinating and providing unit staff training regarding behavioral and psycho-therapeutic milieu programming.
• Responds to crisis situations; serves as a member of code team.

• Education Required: Bachelor's of Science or Bachelor's of Arts required; Master's of Counseling or related field preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: BCBA certification required; LMSW/LPC preferred.
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM -5:00 PM; Evenings and weekends as needed for special events/programs
• Experience: Three years of Mental Health Experience preferred, four years related experience with adolescents and children; Previous experience with emotionally disturbed or physically disabled children; Knowledge of principles of psychology and child growth and development are preferred; BSN Preferred; Must be able to sustain physical activity throughout the scheduled shift; Able to remain on feet throughout the scheduled shift
