Huntsman is seeking a Systems Quality Leader - QMS and Audits supporting the Performance Products Division located in The Woodlands, TX. This position will report to the HPP Americas Quality Manager.

In summary, as the Systems Quality Leader - QMS and Audits, your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining and improving the Global Quality Management System (QMS) for Performance Products Americas Region to address certification requirements, evolving business needs, and alignment across the division.
  • Collaborate with required functions to ensure that regional QMS meets the quality needs, the certification and customers' requirements and is effectively implemented and continuously improved
  • Responsible for the coordination of ISO 9001:2015 certification for the following locations: The Woodlands and HATC
    • Direct responsibility for the following sections of the QMS:
      • Audits (Internal and External)
      • Nonconformities (NCRs)
      • Management Review
      • Investigation Practices / RCCA
      • Training
  • Establish, implement, optimize, and maintain the regional Quality Management System processes and policies. Work with cross functional teams on key regional and divisional procedures to assure compliance to HPP Quality Management System and alignment within the division. Example: Management of Change
  • Champions continuous improvement by working with Regional and Site Quality Managers to maintain certifications and implementing QMS process and procedures.
  • Ensures good supporting documentation is prepared for user access, Standard Operating Procedures, job aides and training materials.
  • Responsible in the performance of Gap Analysis activities for new or revised standards and supports the different sites within the region to highlight system gaps at their sites.
  • Ensures system gaps are addressed and closed per agreed action plans.
  • Manage and maintain the internal and external auditing program
  • Work with management to ensure corrective actions address root causes and process recommendations are beneficial/value added
  • Act a as a resource for training, coaching and mentoring
  • Participate in Divisional Quality Projects

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor in a technical, engineering, chemistry, or business discipline
  • +10 years working experience in a quality assurance management role.
  • Proven experience in driving continuous improvements projects.
  • Understanding of AS 9100, ITAF 16949, and ISO 9001 as well as any associated documents.
  • Extensive expertise in leading and coordinating RCCA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in leading transformational change within multi-disciplinary environment is a plus.
  • Ideally Six Sigma / LEAN trained
