Digital Transformation in Education Project Manager IT Project Management Full Time 81900BR Job Summary The Digital Transformation in Education Project Manager provides leadership on the full workstream for projects related to the design, development, implementation and continuous optimization of student information system applications, systems, and services in support of the UCSF education mission. Under the direction of the Associate CIO for Education, and working within diverse cross-functional teams, the incumbent manages multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously in a cross-matrixed environment. Using an inclusive, team-based approach, the incumbent develops and coordinates detailed project plans, establishes milestones and timelines, enforces project deadlines and schedules, and monitors budget and resource requirements with the goal of completing the projects to the highest quality, on schedule and within budget. With a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, the incumbent is committed to providing all campus users with an optimal, secure and cost-effective educational technology environment that meets the requirements of accreditation, helps evolve and innovate 21st-century pedagogy, and facilitates technology-enabled learning, teaching and educational business processes. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $213,200 (Annual Rate). UCSF IT provides infrastructure, network, security, analytics, integration, and application support services, and essential to the organization's ability to support growth, mitigate security risk, and manage, store and share sensitive information. To better serve the Education Mission, UCSF IT has recently created a new IT Education unit, which is in a period of growth. Led by the Associate CIO for Education, this unit is charged with developing collaborative relationships, processes and services that appropriately enable the education community to execute their mission, while keeping UCSF's IT environment secure and sufficiently cost effective. With a focus on diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility, this IT Education team is actively working to establish a computing architecture and services to support digital equity and digital transformation to support and advance the UCSF education mission.
