ACARA Solutions and our client in Scottsdale, AZ have 5 contract-to-direct hire positions available for both 1st & 2nd shifts

Advanced Engineering Technician
1st & 2nd shifts (2nd shift does pay a shift differential)
Some positions require an Active Secret Clearance, and some DO not require a clearance. All positions do require US Citizenship.
The Advanced Engineering Technician will collaborate with Engineering, Operations Support, and various departments to assist with engineering activities. This includes designing, testing, modifying, fabricating, and assembling prototype electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment.
Radio Frequency (RF) is highly desired.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
  • Constructing, modifying, debugging, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing, and adjusting a range of tools, equipment, and systems.
  • Conducting, analyzing, and documenting statistically based experiments to establish process parameters.
  • Implementing and documenting complex solutions for process improvements.
  • Designing and building basic tooling and fixtures for specific tasks.
  • Organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify cause-and-effect relationships and recommend resolutions or process enhancements.
Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as an Engineering Technician.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools.
  • Ability to fabricate complex hardware.
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory.
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Superior communication and collaboration skills.

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
