DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a General Civil Superintendent with a strong civil background to join our internal self-perform construction team. This position requires 95% travel and does not offer visa sponsorship. For this role, we anticipate paying $130,000 - $165,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. Our Team At DEPCOM Power, we design, build, and operate some of the largest and most efficient solar plants for leading utility companies and asset owners. Our construction team is divided into two divisions: General Contracting and Self-Perform. The internal construction team is a rapidly growing division that offers ample opportunities for growth and new challenges. What You Will Do * Oversee and manage the civil site personnel for utility-scale solar projects, focusing on large scale earthwork, mass grading effort, erosion control, and SWPPP (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan) compliance. * Identify, plan, and mitigate schedule delays, quality control issues, safety hazards, and other site-related challenges. * Ensure work and site conditions are congruent with plans, specifications, and contracts. * Maintain daily reporting for internal and external stakeholders. * Manage schedules and budgets from execution through completion of each project. * Order and manage materials and perform material takeoffs. * Effectively manage and organize multiple crews across several job sites Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) * Proven large scale civil experience, particularly in managing site development and earthwork. * Proficiency in operating equipment, dual slope lasers, and GPS for site layout and grading. * Experience managing plans, schedules, and budgets from execution through project completion. * Hands-on experience with clearing, grading, erosion control, and utility installation. * Experience with the latest technology and software applications * Valid driver's license. What Will Put You Ahead * Business leadership experience (running a small construction scale company) * Engineering experience, surveying background * Experience with Self-Perform construction in civil roles. * Experience performing material takeoffs and managing material logistics.
