This role offers a range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on qualifications such as experience, education, certifications, and skills, as well as geographic considerations.

We have an opening for a Research Chemist at our state-of-the-art Research & Development facility in West Chicago, IL. We are looking forAn Experienced Offset Ink Chemistin our growing Offset Ink division, so we invite you to be a part of this exciting and growing team! As aR&D Chemist you will be responsible for:

• Developing Conventional Offsetinks and varnishes
• Conductingvarious tests including analytical, formulation, small batch manufacturing, pigment dispersion, and print
• Providingtechnical information to customers to help in the design, qualification, and troubleshooting of product development
• Stayingup-to-date with new market trends and new technological changes in the analytical and chemical industry

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to have:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or equivalent
• 5-10 years of experience formulating inks and coatings
• Knowledge in rheology, pigment dispersions, interfacial/colloidal science,polymer chemistry, and color science
• Be able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions
• Excellent math and science, written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to travel both domestically and internationally

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & SharePoint proficiency
• SAP knowledge
• Strongability to interpret color
