Summary of Job Duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Enroll students/ clients in adult education program and or services
* Administer pre- and post- assessments to students of T.A.B.E. or Oral Best
* Input student records into online data management system (LACES)
* Maintain student and departmental records
* Answer phones and disseminate program information
* File management
* Copy materials
Administer GED Readiness and GED Official Examinations (GED Proctor)
- Monitor and manage distance learning system hours (AZTEC, Essential Education, Burlington English)
- Complete intake process including barrier assessments, entrance, and exit surveys
-Monitor, manage, and create test tickets in DRC Literacy Pro System
-Manage and disseminate minutes for staff, advisory board, and other meetings as applicable
-Assist with student retention management
-Manage departmental computer check out system
-Works closely with Instructors, SNAP E & T, Career Coaches, and WAGE Coordinators
-Works closely with UAPTC Student Services and testing center
-Complete all of job duties as assigned and or applicable Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty

ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 6-12 months related experience
and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability
to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with I O's and I00's.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume,
and distance.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral
instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized
situations.

COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Computer skills: data
management; internet; email; MICROSOFT Office. Office Machines: copier, fax, SCANTRON, phone
system, laminator. Phone skills.
