The Business Intelligence leader will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to support business decision-making. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background and the ability to lead a team of BI professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and execute the BI strategy aligned with the company's goals.
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of BI analysts.
    • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
  • Data Management:
    • Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Implement and maintain BI tools and systems.
    • Ensure data governance and compliance with relevant regulations.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest BI tools and technologies
  • Analysis & Reporting:
    • Design and deliver insightful reports and dashboards to stakeholders.
    • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
    • Provide actionable recommendations based on data insights.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs.
    • Collaborate with IT to ensure the BI infrastructure supports business requirements.
    • Communicate findings and insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a BI leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Alteryx, Hadoop, Tableau, Power BI, etc).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and SQL.
Preferred Skills:
  • Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of machine learning and advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based BI solutions.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
