The Regulatory Readiness Specialist supports the ministry through the management and improvement of system-wide processes related to organizational surveys and regulatory readiness activities. The Regulatory Readiness Specialist assumes responsibility for all aspects of site inspection including pre-survey preparation through post-inspection follow-up of corrective actions needed. The Regulatory Readiness Specialist exercises independent judgment and discretion within agreed upon limitations and takes actions as needed based on knowledge of the organization, its policies, procedures, and personnel. This position will also be responsible for coordinating, facilitating and distributing hospital policies and procedures and serve as the organization's administrator for the electronic policy management platform. The Regulatory Readiness Specialist will provide leadership, facilitation and consultation necessary for the development, review, revision and archiving of policies and procedures and supporting documents for the organization and ensures that policies and procedures are processed through the appropriate channels for consultation, review and approval.

Required qualifications:



  • Associate's Degree or work experience to include risk management and/or regulatory/accreditation affairs
  • 3 years of Recent experience in an acute care hospital setting


Preferred qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree or Coursework/Training: Accreditation certification
  • Certificate in Healthcare Accreditation and/or Healthcare Quality upon hire
