Position Summary
The Department of Health Sciences, Division of Physical Therapy, is recruiting an Assistant Professor, on the Fixed Term Track.

Position responsibilities will be 90-100% clinical practice in our University Physical Therapy ( UPT) outpatient faculty practice with locations in the Chapel Hill area. The physical therapist will evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal disorders in a productive and efficient manner. The remainder of the responsibilities include clinical or didactic teaching in the orthopedic physical therapy residency and Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Service to the division and profession is expected.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must have a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Applicants must also hold an active unrestricted PT license in a state in the USA and be eligible for physical therapy licensure in North Carolina. A minimum of 1 year of full-time post-licensure clinical experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Completion of a physical therapy residency or ABPTS certification or plans to complete in near future are preferred. Experience as a clinical preceptor is preferred.
