The Technical Architect proactively and holistically leads and supports Enterprise Architect activities that guide the development and management of technical solutions that enable the organization's future-state capabilities and drive targeted business outcomes.

This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship. #LI-Hybrid / #LI-Onsite

What will you do?

  • Understand the technology landscape

  • Conduct technical research.

  • Provide guidance toward organizational technical excellence.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to enable solving strategic business objectives through technology.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum five years of design and implementation experience in IT

  • Deep knowledge in infrastructure and network design, APIs), middleware, servers and storage, Active Directory

  • Understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies

  • Someone with knowledge of components of enterprise technology

  • Someone with understanding of information principles and processes
