The course of instruction will include: NR-601:Primary Care of the Maturing and Aged Family Practicum This course continues to expand the knowledge of health-assessment principles specific to the role of the FNP with a focus on the common health problems and healthcare needs of the middle-aged and older adult and family. The student will explore, analyze, apply and evaluate chronic health conditions frequently encountered in the primary care of older adults. Students will further develop their skills related to patient education, protocol development, follow-up and referral through a clinical practicum experience in a precepted primary-care setting. Qualifications
Experience required:
- Must be certified as FNPby AANP or ANCC and have clinical experience as FNP (required)
- Must have PhD, DNP, EdD or other relevant doctoral degree (required)
- A minimum of 2 years teaching(online teaching experience preferred)
- Professional Development experience preferred
- An active unencumberedCompact RN nursing license(Required)
- Must have (or be willing to obtain) LouisianaRN/APRN
- Must also have Illinois RN nursing license (or willing to obtain at own expense prior to being able to teach)
- Must have subject matter expertise in the course of instruction
- Faculty must have excellent communication, motivational, and instructional skills in a diverse and non-traditional environment
- Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), WebEx/Teams (or similar platform)and Internet with a strong emphasis on Excel

Chamberlain Visiting Professor Position - Online:
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate's education and experience.
Actual pay may be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as type of course taught; experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
