UC Riverside's Campus Business Services is recruiting for a part-time Operations Coordinator. The full salary range for the Operations Coordinator is $31.72 - $50.70 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $41.62 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
This part-time position will be scheduled for three (3), eight (8) hour days per week. The schedule is to be determined. Note that this is an in-person, on-campus position; remote work is not available. Under the leadership of the Campus Business Services Director, the Campus Business Services (CBS) Operations Coordinator uses skills as a seasoned, experienced administrative operations professional to play a crucial role in supporting the daily administrative functions of CBS. This position provides comprehensive administrative and customer support across various departments, including Highlander Service Station, Mail Services, UCR Book Store, Receiving Services, Digital Print Services, Scot Surplus, and Auxiliary Design Services. The coordinator is responsible for managing escalated customer service issues, driving customer retention efforts, optimizing operational processes, and developing pricing strategies to align with departmental budgetary goals. Key responsibilities include resolving financial discrepancies, addressing vendor concerns, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing, tracking, and reconciliation processes. By consolidating responsibilities, the CBS Operations Coordinator enhances efficiency and accountability, leveraging professional expertise to deliver a responsive, engaging, and adaptable customer experience that meets the diverse needs of the campus community. Additionally, the role involves analyzing and resolving operational challenges, developing and maintaining budgets, and producing regular reports and statistical data monthly or as required.
