Job Summary:

The Utilization and Care Management Coordinator is responsible for managing, analyzing, and coordinating data to support the UM department at ArchWell Health. This role will work closely with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate and timely handling of data that improves member outcomes and operational efficiency. An ideal candidate will have an understanding of utilization management and case management, have strong attention to detail, and be system-oriented and flexible to operate within a new and developing infrastructure.

Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with Utilization Management and Care Management team to support data related projects and initiatives.
  • Routinely review data for accuracy. Verify any updates submitted and correct current rosters. Resolve any discrepancies found.
  • Research, validate, and input data from multiple sources.
  • Coordinate with market resources to identify gaps in network resources, source new resources, and update all relatable files.
  • Generate actionable insights based off analysis that assist markets in aligning with enterprise goals and initiatives.
  • Create and maintain a repository of files for department, ensuring data is reliable and consistently available for use and/or review.



Required Skills/Abilities:




  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically excel and SharePoint.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare system, specifically utilization management and/or case management.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities with high attention to detail.
  • Passion for helping our senior population.
  • Ability to manipulate excel documents, run reports, and create meaningful output.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, healthcare information systems, or related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in data coordination, analysis, or related role.
