Senior Java/Oracle Backend Developer (ON-SITE)

Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Java/Oracle Backend Developer with our industry-leading client in Durham, NC. This position will be onsite.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $63 - $70 / hr. w2

Develop with Java (including REST/SOAP services) and work with the development and maintaince of cloud applications in AWS including heavy database work with PL-SQL, Oracle Database, Shell, and complex business logic using PL-SQL and all associated CICD/testing work (I.E. Jenkins, Udeploy, Concourse, Terraform, Cloudformation, et cetera)

-8+ years Oracle and JAVA Development experience/Database Programming required

-Experience developing Java, Spring Framework and REST/SOAP Web Services, working with Oracle database, PL/SQL, SQL, and Shell Scripting, building complex business logic using PL/SQL, and Java

-Requires strong experience in financial services experience

*NICE TO HAVE*

Experience with AWS, CI/CD, or Production Support is highly desired

Data Driven / Test Driven development experience is also highly desired

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
