As Sr Manager, Radiation Safety you will oversee the development and implementation of policies, programs, products, and/or research based on applied principals of physics.

What You will do:

  • Contribute to the creation, application and efficiency of company products through the work of staff physicists, medical physicists, support and technical personnel.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and across departments to ensure team members, business leaders, and stake holders are aligned on strategy, direction, and Radiation Safety initiatives
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, programs, products, and/or research based on applied principals of physics
  • In areas such as medical devices, direct activities such as equipment calibration checks and radiation surveys.
  • Actively contributes to the proper maintenance of equipment and development of policies/procedures required for conformance to regulatory requirements, procedures and training activities.
  • The role may include escalated customer support of applications/products using telephone, computer diagnostic or client-site visits.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Travel domestically and/or internationally up to 20%

**The role will require on-site presence in Palo Alto, CA which may be fulfilled with a cadence of regular site visits.**

What You will have:

  • Typically requires an advanced degree and may require clinical experience and Board Certification as Medical Physicist (ABR, ABMP, or equivalent).
  • 10 years of related experience. 5 years management experience.
  • Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people.
  • Experience with Radiation Safety program launch and change management activities
  • Effective interpersonal skills. Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

The base pay range for this position is

Min $158,900 - Max $285,900

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
