JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs, calculates, reviews and reports laboratory diagnostic tests. Basic laboratory skills, maintenance, QC, and troubleshooting abilities. Understands the clinical significance of the testing performed. Responsibilities for teaching, training, correction of procedural/instrument issues increase through the range of MLS I to MLS III.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in biological science or chemistry and Medical Laboratory Scientist certification preferred. Medical Laboratory Technicians with Blood Bank experience are encouraged to apply.

SIGN ON BONUS:

External candidates are eligible for up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new grads, up to $5,000 for individuals with more than three years of experience. Current employees of UVM Health Network are not eligible for this bonus. Additional terms and conditions apply.

RELOCATION:

Eligible candidates will receive up to a $9,200 relocation bonus. Certain terms and conditions apply.
