SRE Cloud Developer/Production Support Developer

Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a SRE Cloud Developer/Production Support Developer to work on a 12-month contract in Westlake, TX. The pay rate ranges from $55 to $60/hour. This position is available for W-2 only and allows for hybrid work with every other week onsite. No travel is required.

* Support infrastructure and applications as a production support and SRE specialist.

* Lead efforts in automation, observability, and incident management across various environments.

* Collaborate with IT and business teams to deploy new functionalities, SRE features, and software fixes.

* Implement and improve automation using Infrastructure as Code principles.

* Drive production stability through operational automation, real-time metrics, and developer guidance.

* 5+ years of hybrid experience in production support, development, and site reliability engineering.

* 2+ years of experience with AWS cloud development, Python, NodeJS, or Java.

* Expertise with Kubernetes and experience in observability tools like Splunk, Datadog, and Prometheus.

* Strong communication skills and ability to troubleshoot in high-pressure situations.

* Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology).
