Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope:The Process Engineer - Chemical is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of chemical processes used to produce printed circuit boards, specifically in the drill, lamination and plating departments. This includes application engineering of processes developed by suppliers that are planned for use at TTM, installation of these processes and or equipment, establishment of operating conditions to produce product, daily monitoring of process conditions, and performing failure mode effect analysis to determine failure points of the process.
Duties:
*Research availability of chemical processes to meet TTM technology needs
*Write a project plan for process implementation
*Implement process and perform failure mode effect analysis to establish correct operating conditions
*Write all necessary procedures and instructions for process operation, maintenance and safety
*Monitor process operation on a daily basis to assure consistency
*Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis when product/process problems occur
*Perform analyses on the processes when required
Essential Knowledge and Skills:
*Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
*Knowledge and application of statistical techniques for process control
*Knowledge and application of failure mode effect analysis techniques as applied to both process development and process improvement
*Must be able to lift 25 pounds without straining
Education and Experience:
*Minimum of one year experience in a Manufacturing setting preferred. Printed circuit boards is a plus
*Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or related degree
*Must have a general knowledge of methods used to training people in the operation and theory of the processes they operate
*Must have or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $58,089 - $96,815Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
