Facility Operations Job Description
Summary This position will have an active role with managing, supporting and leadership of daily operations of all custodial, solid waste, and recycling operations for E&G and Auxiliary Services for campus - 10,000,000 gross square feet of administrative, teaching, research and housing space on campus and 200 employees. Position Description Inspect, review, and investigate custodial conditions with E & G and Auxiliary buildings handled by in-house and contractors across campus. Oversee, develop, and monitor custodial training. Work closely with trainer on all aspects of new staff development, product/equipment training, and probation process. Work closely with supervision, and one on one interactions, to ensure custodial operations provide safe, comfortable learning and working environments as well as discuss source and plans for department operations both present and future. Coordinate and communicate work and job conditions with campus stakeholders. Handle personnel issues, grievances, discipline, terminations and corrective actions of staff. Shift
6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Five years' work experience in a similar role. A valid driver's license which will allow the legal operation of a motor vehicle in the State of Missouri is required. Anticipated Hiring Range
