Job Description

We are currently hiring a Packaging Process Engineering Co-op at our Samuel Adams Cincinnati Brewery in Cincinnati, OH. This position is from January- June 2025.

The Packaging Process Engineering Co-op will be responsible for identifying and executing projects that help our Packaging Team achieve their goals. The Co-op will analyze production data and use their Engineering background to make recommendations for operational and procedural improvements at the Samuel Adams Cincinnati Brewery.

What You'll Brew:



  • Assist with equipment downtime reporting and remediation
  • Maintain reports/documentation enhancements and standardization
  • Assist in developing operator work stations standardization (5-S)
  • Assist with line start-up, shut down, cleaning and changeover enhancements
  • Work on special projects assessing process/material loss
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to work assigned offshifts as needed.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to endure on a daily basis, walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Tolerate summer/winter temperature conditions and Hot and Cold in production environment.

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills.
  • Able to impact and effect positive change with a flexible, open-minded, positive approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in a collaborative team environment.
  • Self-starter, proactive.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Access
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States, now or in the future


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Previous co-op experience within an industrial environment is a plus
  • Experience in high speed manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Proven problem solving/conflict resolution skills; be able to think through issues and arrive at well-thought conclusions.
