West Virginia University School of Nursing invites applications for a Non-Tenure, Clinical Education Track Instructor. This is a full-time,1.0 FTE, nine (9) months, benefits eligible position to teach in the BSN program Complex Community Systems Nursing clinicals. This position will report to the chairperson of the Family and Community Health Department.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:



  • Teaching in Complex Community Systems Nursing clinicals in the BSN program.
  • In addition to clinical teaching, other formats of teaching, including traditional classroom teaching, skills lab, small group, and simulation teaching may be included

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in nursing (MSN); or have a bachelor's degree with a major in nursing and be enrolled in a graduate degree program with a major in nursing within one (1) year of employment as a faculty member; or have a bachelor's degree with a major in nursing and at least ten (10) years of professional nursing practice experience.
  • Evidence of experience in complex community systems nursing practice sufficient to demonstrate professional competence.
  • Required to have unencumbered WV RN License by position start date.
  • Applicants with two (2) years of teaching experience in nursing are encouraged to apply.
