Ambulatory - Bettendorf, IA (Call in Endo between the Rock Island, IL and Bettendorf, IA campuses) RN Surgery (Ambulatory/Endoscopy) Full Time - 0.8 FTE Day Shift
- 4, 8-hour shifts
- Start times are based on the surgery schedule
- Usual start between 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM
- Call is 1 night a week + every 4th weekend

Responsibilities
- Ambulatory:
- Provides comprehensive pre-op and post-op care for patient of all ages undergoing surgical procedures.
- Prepares patients for surgery, conducts assessments, and provides necessary education.
- Endoscopy:
- Performs various endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies, bronchoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, food bolus cases, and a variety of other procedures. Generally, endoscopy procedures are performed in Endo, the OR, or the ICU. These procedures involve using specialized instruments like flexible tubes with cameras to view and sometimes treat conditions inside the body's internal cavities or organs.
- The unit is equipped with advanced imaging and monitoring technology and is staffed by specialized physicians, nurses and techs who ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate procedure outcomes.
Qualifications
Education:
- Diploma from an RN program.
License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
- Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Must possess and maintain ACLS
